Our team is an enthusiastic and committed group of professionals who bring a diverse set of skills and expertise in: project and program management; strategy and policy design; facilitation; teaching workforce coordination; Work Health and Safety; employee relations; and community campaigns and development.

The team is led by the founder of Be. Miranda Moir. Miranda is a skilled and experienced human services practitioner, leader and academic. She has worked for two decades carrying out strategic reforms for social impact and developing the skills and wellbeing of staff in contexts of complex dynamics and systems. She is a qualified Social Worker, AASW mentor, certified coach and qualified project manager in PRINCE 2 methodologies.

Miranda is passionate about striving for social equality and supporting communities and staff to reach their potential. It is her blend of micro practice expertise alongside her macro lens and innovation skills that brings a unique consultancy experience.

Miranda has led the development of pivotal child welfare reforms such as the development of a practice framework and professional practice standards for the NSW child protection system. She brings a creative and conceptual approach to strategic planning and practice resource development.

Miranda is a skilled facilitator and curriculum developer with a passion for bringing people on a journey through compassion, good humour and skilful reflection.

Examples include the development of a domestic violence practice kit for the NSW child protection workforce, conversation tools, educational tools to translate theory into practice, promotional products to support awareness and mindset shifts.
